Finding the best 32 inch gaming monitor can be a worthwhile challenge to overcome, giving you a larger display for your favorite things. Whether you’re gaming on a PC or console or simply watching TV, everyone knows that bigger is (often) better!
The problem with monitors of this size can be lower pixel density, which means larger pixels and lower quality. Many people don’t factor this in when buying a new monitor, so they go for big without compensating on the resolution side.
For today’s article, we’ve gone ahead and picked out 5 PC Monitor 32 Inch that we already know to look great because we’ve personally tested them out! We also made sure to pick excellent choices in each price range, so no matter your budget, there’s something for you.
1. Asus TUF Gaming VG32VQ
Resolution | 1440p (QHD) |
Refresh Rate | 144Hz |
Adaptive Sync | FreeSync, G-Sync |
The Asus TUF is a fantastic choice for a 32-inch gaming monitor, thanks in part to the remarkable resolution and the quality & curve of the screen. If you’re looking for a wide-screen 1440p monitor with fast performance, you’ve found it.
The Asus TUF Gaming line of monitors is hands down one of the best series, meeting our highest quality standards. This QHD monitor offers a refresh rate of 144Hz & a response time of 1ms. This supports a framerate up to 144, and the rapid response time of the monitor means the color changes happen before your eyes can even notice.
The Asus TUF supports numerous HDR settings, including HDR10’s high dynamic range for the best color and brightness levels. There’s also a shadow boost mode for enhanced visuals in dark areas. This can be a game-changer if you’re playing competitive shooters!
The Asus Eye Care Technology also helps reduce eye fatigue with blue light filters and Flicker-less functionality. All around, this gaming monitor looks incredible, is reliable, and has excellent features.
2. Acer Predator XB323U
Resolution | 1440p (QHD) |
Refresh Rate | 170Hz |
Adaptive Sync | FreeSync, G-Sync |
The Acer Predator XB323U meets my very highest standards for an excellent 32-inch gaming monitor. While a bit pricey, I’ve found it well worth it for the sheer quality and performance it offers.
This WQHD 1440p gaming monitor has a refresh rate of 170Hz, which means it can support 170FPS. Those massive frame rates ensure you get a smooth gameplay experience, with a rapid 1ms response time for the monitor.
The Acer EyeProtect technology offers a blue light filter, flicker-less, and low dimming to reduce eye fatigue as much as possible. As someone who works on computers and gaming, I cannot tell you how important this single feature is.
Lastly, with the DisplayHDR 600 Technology, you get rich, bold colors with a (massive) 99% Adobe RGB color spectrum. Overall, this is a top-of-the-line gaming monitor that I highly recommend.
3. Samsung Odyssey G5
Resolution | 1440p (QHD) |
Refresh Rate | 144Hz |
Adaptive Sync | AMD FreeSync, NVIDIA G-Sync |
The Samsung Odyssey G5 is an outstanding 32-inch gaming monitor at a reasonable price point. The quality you get is incredible. Samsung Odyssey is a line of gaming monitors that we’ve had the pleasure of reviewing on several occasions, and we believe you’ll enjoy the G5 just as much as we have.
Thanks to the Odyssey’s 1000R panel, the curve will match the dimensions of the human eye, giving you a more optimal gaming experience. This helps with eye fatigue as well, which we value greatly.
You’ll also find the WQHD resolution looks stunning, with maximum clarity. The HDR10 brings a variety of shades and color variation that gives a more immersive, authentic feel to our games. Your gameplay will be seamless with the 144Hz refresh rate, adaptive sync technology, and 1ms response time.
Overall the Samsung Odyssey G5 is a great 32-inch gaming monitor that offers impeccable quality at a moderate price.
4. BenQ EW3270U 4K Monitor
Resolution | 2160p (4K) |
Refresh Rate | 60Hz |
Adaptive Sync | AMD FreeSync, NVIDIA G-Sync |
The BenQ EW3270U is a great 32-inch gaming monitor offering 4K resolution and a refresh rate of 60Hz. While high FPS may be sacrificed, you’re getting 4K resolution with a large screen.
The refresh rate is the downside here, only supporting a maximum frame rate of 60. If that’s fine by you, however, then you’ll appreciate the other great features this semi-affordable 4K gaming monitor offers.
The HDR offers an incredible dynamic range in color, giving supreme clarity to your picture. The intelligence the BenQ EW3270U comes with will automatically adjust monitor brightness and coloring to fit your environment, and this is particularly useful for keeping your eyes in shape.
Of course, the BenQ offers eye care technology, essential for gamers. The low blue light & flicker-free technology will help you avoid eye fatigue.
Overall, this 32-inch gaming monitor has its share of pros and cons, but for 4K resolution at this size, it’s well worth it.
5. AOC G2
Resolution | 1080p |
Refresh Rate | 165Hz |
Adaptive Sync | FreeSync, G-Sync |
The AOC G2 is one of the best bang-for-your-buck for finding a 32-inch gaming monitor. The amount of quality it provides, with a relaxed aesthetic and curvature, it’s such a great purchase.
The 165Hz refresh rate will give you fast gameplay supporting up to 165FPS. This Full HD monitor 32 inch looks amazing for 1080p, and the large size with the curve is stunning. It uses a VA LED panel for dazzling colors and great display.
The AOC G2 also offers eye care technology, similar to other monitors on this list. Both FlickerFree & LowBlue modes offer considerable help with eye strain. The Adobe RGB range is 91%, not as high as others, but still a significant amount.
The only downside here is that it’s 1080p & 32-inch. That does make it suffer a lower pixel density, but all in all, it’s a great monitor for the price.
6. Dell S3220DGF
Resolution | 1440p (QHD) |
Refresh Rate | 165Hz |
Adaptive Sync | FreeSync, G-Sync |
The Dell S3220DGF is one of my favorite 32 inch gaming monitors on the market right now. As we all know, Dell has been a leading brand for Windows computers for decades, and their higher resolution monitors are absolutely stunning. The Dell S3220DGF is just another example of their fine engineering.
The first thing for us to point out is that this is a curved LED monitor. As you may already know, curved monitors are much better for your eyes, adding a sense of dimension to the picture. Offering QHD resolution, you’ll be getting 77% more of your entertainment compared to full HD video.
Offering a refresh rate of 165Hz, this Dell monitor will be able to support really high framerates, further enhancing the gaming experience. As someone who’s used this monitor on many occasions, I can also attest to the lack of technical issues, such as dead pixels or screen bleeding. This monitor is super reliable.
And as we expect from any decent gaming monitor, you’ll have the choice of using their included stand or taking advantage of the wall-mount compatibility. Overall, if you’re playing at 1440p, this is a great 32 inch gaming monitor for your money.
7. Gigabyte AORUS
Resolution | 1440p (QHD) |
Refresh Rate | 165Hz |
Adaptive Sync | FreeSync, G-Sync |
The Gigabyte Aorus is another beautiful 32 inch gaming monitor that I’ve only recently had the chance to work with. I haven’t used a lot of Gigabyte products, but my time using the Aorus really opened my eyes. This gaming monitor exceeded my expectations immensly.
The Gigabyte Aorus is a 2560/1440p monitor with brilliant colors and masterful performance. The 165Hz refresh rate with the 1ms response time ensures you’re getting rapid video with high frame rates for that seamless experience. The beautiful color display is thanks in part to the monitor being 94% DCI-P3, which is a common RGB colorspace for digital movie projection.
This gaming monitor has 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports & 1 USB-C port. More importantly, however, is their DisplayPort 1.4. Using the DisplayPort offers bandwidth up to 32.4 Gbit/s, allowing you to fully utilize the performance potentials of this QHD 32 Inch gaming monitor.
I am a huge fan of the Gigabyte Aorus, and it’s definitely one of the best monitors on this list. The fast performance & beautiful display are just the tip of the iceberg.
How Do We Make Our Decision?
The team at GamingNotion takes a lot of factors into consideration for compiling lists like this one. It’s not enough for a monitor to be 32 Inches, as there is so much more to look for than that. Many of our readers come to us because shopping sites can’t differentiate between the various needs of their audience. Instead of getting stuck doing hours of research, our team aims to help each and every one of you find the perfect gaming monitor for you.
The first thing we look at when making our decision is the screen resolution. Our list contains a variety of options, from 1080p to 4K. We try to find a balance between the resolution and the cost, to find the best ratio for every item we review. Not every 4K monitor needs to be expensive, but we also don’t want to recommend something that will break on you in the future.
That’s where our testing and deep research come into play. We’ve personally reviewed every single monitor on this list. While some of us have owned some of these options for years, we can’t say the same about each and every one of them. That’s why we’ll also do a deeper dive on the “general consensus” across various shopping sites to learn more about what problems you can expect with long-term use. If hundreds of buyers say their monitor died on them within 6 months, while we only tested it for 3 weeks, we’re not going to recommend it for you. regardless of our experience.
The last factor we consider is, of course, the monitor’s performance. We look for high framerates & stellar response times. Every monitor includes specs of what they can do, however, we thoroughly test them to ensure accuracy. We even try to push the limits. So rest assured, no monitor on our list is being deceitful in any way.
